What We Do

Graduate Veteran/Dog Teams

Kevin and Tyson

It has been 21 years since I last had a dog of any sort. I had been working with a mental health doctor who thought a service dog would be a good idea to help with some of my PTSD symptoms. It took me several months to locate a training facility and SBF was recommended by a fellow worker. After starting the process to train with SBF it was a great experience. They worked to find a rescue dog that would fit my apartment lifestyle but still be capable to perform the tasks I needed and get along with my cats.

I have had great success with my dog and have become more active and able to deal with crowds more effectively and with more confidence.

I owe a lot to the dedication and time the staff at SBF has shown to both my dog and me. The program has been flexible and effective. I have even told a few of my fellow military members about the program because I know it has helped me in my day to day life.
