Johnny & Liberty

Before getting Liberty, my service dog, I often felt overwhelmed by daily tasks and social situations. Due to PTSD and TBI, my anxiety was debilitating, and I struggled to leave the house, engage with the general public. However, everything changed when I welcomed Liberty, my Blue Heeler, into my life.
Liberty is not just a pet; she is my constant companion and my lifeline. Her presence alone calms me during panic attacks and helps me navigate crowded places. Liberty woke me up at night every time I am suffering with sleep apnea and difficulty breathing.
When I start to feel anxious, Liberty instinctively nudges me with her nose, grounding me in the moment with Deep Pressure by laying on me. Her loving energy and unwavering support have given me the confidence to engage more in our community.
All these tasked can not be completed without the help from SBF, especially for my trainer, Jessica Parker who helped me throughout the entire process since day one.
