Brady & Millie

This journey has been one of healing, trust, and newfound strength, and I am profoundly grateful for the incredible support that SBF has provided from the moment I entered the program. I knew I was gaining more than just a service dog-I was gaining a loyal companion, a lifeline, and an unwavering source of stability. SBF's mission of training veterans and service dogs has had a profound impact on my life, helping me navigate the challenges that come with military service and transition. Through their dedication, patience, and training expertise, they have given me the tools to regain confidence and independence.
Millie has been more than just a partner; she has been a guardian of my well-being, sensing moments of unease before I could even put them into words. Whether grounding me during moments of anxiety or simply standing beside me as a reassuring presence, this incredible dog has reminded me that I am never alone. Together, we have grown, learned, and built a bond that is unbreakable—a bond that was made possible through SBF.
A special thank you to Julie, whose patience, knowledge, and dedication made this journey even more rewarding. Julie's guidance not only helped shape Millie into the exceptional service dog she is today but also gave me the confidence to be the best handler and partner I can be.
To the trainers, staff, and everyone at Soldier's Best Friend -thank you. And to the countless donors who make this possible, your generosity has changed lives, mine included. Your contributions have given veterans like me the opportunity to heal, grow, and move forward with a loyal companion by our side. This graduation is not just a celebration of training completed; it is a testament to resilience, teamwork, and the healing power of a loyal companion.
To my fellow veterans considering this path - know that you are not alone, and there is hope in every step forward. I am beyond grateful for this journey, and I look forward to continuing it with Millie by my side.
