Event Description
Run, Ruck & Honor — In Honor of Those Who Answered the Call

Join us on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at Skunk Creek Trailhead in Peoria, AZ, for a 5K or 10K Tactical Trail Ruck & Run honoring the veterans, first responders, and community champions who show up for the Phoenix Valley every single day.

This is more than a race. It is a morning built for our military families, active duty service members, veterans, first responders, seniors, caregivers, and everyone in our community who wants to stand beside them.

What to Expect:

5K and 10K trail run & ruck courses open to all fitness levels (If rucking, make sure you bring your own ruck sack or backpack, and we suggest 35lbs or whatever weight feels safe for you)
Veterans Honor Ceremony recognizing community honorees
Post-race cookout celebration
Raffle with 4 prize baskets — tickets $2 each at the event
Check-in: 7:00–7:45 AM | Start: 8:30 AM | Returns by 11:30 AM
Bring a Donation, Earn Bonus Raffle Tickets:
Bring a grocery bag filled with hygiene items for less fortunate veterans, or pet essentials for veterans and their new service dogs — and earn 5 bonus raffle tickets per bag.

Military, Veteran & First Responder Bonus:
Show a valid ID at check-in and receive 3 complimentary bonus raffle tickets — on us.

Benefiting Soldier's Best Friend
Soldier's Best Friend is an Arizona nonprofit that pairs veterans living with PTSD and TBI with rescue dogs trained as service dogs — at no cost to the veteran. They cover all medical costs for the dog throughout the entire program. The majority of proceeds from this event go directly to their mission after event costs are covered.

A battle buddy, a team, an army behind you — that doesn't end after service. Your community is here.
