Oren retired from the United States Air Force in 2020 at the highest enlisted rank of Chief Master Sergeant after more than 24 years of active duty service. He began his military career in the National Capital Region working as a medic in Physical Therapy specializing in Orthopedic and Amputee Rehabilitation. Throughout his military career, Oren served in a myriad of roles including Technical School Instructor and Career Development Course Writer at the Tri-Service Medical Education and Training Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. Most recently, he served in senior leadership positions at military hospitals located at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida and Aviano Air Base, Italy and as the Air Force Physical Medicine Career Field Manager.
He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration and a Masters Degree in Business Administration while stationed at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. He also attended leadership development programs at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School and Cornell University. Oren currently lives in North Phoenix with his wife Erica, a teacher in the Deer Valley School district. They enjoy exploring Arizona on a motorcycle and spending time with family and their rescue dog, Indie.
